Up to this point, the weather was perfect...

NOTE: This is our final post from Israel! Stay tuned for India pictures to come!

This is the weather that we experienced in Akko. We narrowly missed a hailstorm by about 30 seconds.

Akko

Allie, Caitlin and her friend (name? ...oops) braving the rain and exploring the Old City.

The port in the Old City of Akko.

Stormy weather and a statue of The Whale.

Fish! Allie's idea of heaven.

Chillin' in the Baha'i gardens at Akko. Thankful for the sun.

Near the shrine of Baha'u'llah.

The shrine.

A beautiful tree.

More roses for Rosalie.

Nazareth

Modern-day Nazareth.

Inside the Basilica of Annunciation.

The top of the Cathedral from the outside.

Compensating for something?

Idyllic.

Mike's artistic side.

Our Brilliant Tel Aviv escape!

The first taste of freedom.

Look, a playground! No wait -- IT'S AN OUTDOOR GYM ON THE BEACH.

Cribbage in the park, dah-ling!

The Orthodox beach. Not to be confused with the gay beach next door.

Beach tennis as the sun sets.

At the harbor.

Mediterranean sunset.

Prerequisite to leaving Israel - matzah ball soup.

The farm - Part III (and final!)

Eve, the kitten who adopted us. The only thing we miss from the farm!

Mike preparing the onion patch.

The tractor route and a beautiful sky.

Would you ever see this ad on a cereal box in America?

40,000 onion bulbs later, Allie is ecstatic to be leaving. Shalom!
